The Sunseeker features an open 'Mediterranean style' cockpit, sleek aerodynamic lines and a handling and speed that will amaze even the most experienced sea farer.
The charter departs from our moorings in Ocean Village Marina, Southampton and will carry 8 passengers and a fully qualified skipper along with a second crew member. The boat is MCA safety coded and very safe.
The day will begin with refreshments and a safety briefing then head out towards the Isle of Wight, taking a look at the cruise ships along the way (e.g. QE2 and QM2). Then, providing conditions are safe you will be able to take a turn at the helm to feel the immense power and even try a 'donut', get use to boat handling and learn some of the 'rules of the road'. Learn to navigate, colours and direction of buoys.
The most requested stop off for lunch (not included) is the famous
Folly Inn, West Cowes, Isle of Wight - part of the Wayside Inn chain, well run with a wide selection of hot and cold food available all day. Spacious bar and outside terrace perched right on the banks of the River Medina. A river taxi will ferry back and forth to the boat. Alternatively, you may just wish to stay aboard and relax on the boat.
After lunch, take the Sunseeker to the limit, relax, drink Champagne (if this included in your day) and look at the sights from this luxury 40' power boat. Arrive back at the Marina and reflect on the experience.
The day can be tailored to suit your requirements, if the boat is booked exclusively for your party you may wish us to provide champagne, lunch and drinks on the Isle of Wight along with hotel bookings and transport. Please ring for prices.
For spectators, there are many local attractions all within 5 minutes walk, 2 cinemas, Oxford Street bars and restaurants, West Quay Shopping Mall (200 shops).
